Outdoor Summer Worship
Worship with us
Time and Location
Services will be in the upper field behind Lakeside Community Church at 9:30am.
Arrival and Parking
When you arrive, a greeter will welcome you and hand you necessary supplies through your car window. As you find your parking spot, be aware that we will have reserved parking marked nearest the field for the disabled, elderly, and vulnerable.
Finding your Seat
As you get out of your car, there will no doubt be people you want to talk with and we encourage that. However, out of respect for those vulnerable to or especially concerned about COVID-19, we ask that you wear a mask and exercise proper distancing until you find your seat. Hand sanitizer stations will also be available. Please plan on bringing your own camping chair to sit in for worship. If you don’t have enough, a few spares will be available.
What about singing?
YES!!! We get to sing together!!!
Due to the fact that children aren’t the best at social distancing, we will not be offering children’s ministries or nursery at this time, but we will make sure the service is on the shorter end in order to make it more tolerable for young kids.
Bathrooms and Mailboxes
Bathrooms will be available for emergencies only. If you think you will need them, please go before you come. Also, please refrain from going inside and checking your church mailbox at this time.
We will not be passing an offering plate during the service, but there will be several boxes set up in which you can place your offerings and donations. You can also give via Paypal to email@example.com
If you aren’t able or aren’t comfortable with attending a live service yet, the entire service, including music, streaming live online and be available as a recording after the service has concluded. You can watch by following a link on our homepage, by following the link on our facebook page, or via a link in your email box.
How do I get on the livestream email list?
If you want to get the link to our service in your email box every week, contact Cindy Keson at firstname.lastname@example.org. She’ll take care of it.
In the event of bad weather, obviously we won’t be able to meet outside. Instead, Pastor Dave and the worship band will be live streaming from inside the church and the service will go up online. Cancellation of in-person worship will be communicated via email, facebook, and local news.
