kids
We put a lot of energy into creating safe and fun environments where kids can learn about Jesus! It’s a place where faith, imagination, and learning go hand-in-hand. It’s a place where loving God is cool!
Church should be fun! We make sure your child will enjoy coming to church each week! Your kids will participate in fun activities and crafts, energetic worship, and storytelling with other children their age.
Middle School
We believe the next generation will change the world! Our youth services allow for tough questions, connecting with Jesus, and connecting with a community of other peers their age. From Sunday services to weekday services, your student will find a place to get involved!
high school
When we look at the way that Jesus did his ministry we see that he had a particular interest in making his deepest impact in a small circle of people. He didn’t invest in the massive crowds that came to hear him speak near as much as he poured himself out to his disciples, and specifically to James, Peter, and John.
At Lakeside we take discipleship very seriously, and out of our love for our students and our devotion to discipleship we provide every high school student in our church the opportunity to be discipled 1-on-1 for a school year through 222 Disciple. During this year students and their mentor will talk through all of the elements of the gospel and what our response to the gospel is. Alongside fantastic gospel-based conversation, there are rich relationships built between leaders and students that will last a lifetime.
If you have any questions about youth ministry at Lakeside, please feel free to contact Austin Kammeraad, our Director of Youth and Adult Discipleship.

Small groups at Lakeside are all about helping you grow in the discipline of experiencing God daily in Word and Prayer. Although many have tried time and time again, we believe that God made us to be in the community and growing in this discipline alone is impossible. Because of this, we need each other to spur us on towards love and good deeds.
Lakeside’s small groups meet in the fall and spring for an 8-week series’. During these series’ our small groups are integrated with the sermons on Sunday mornings, which forms great conversations around the Word and how we need to respond.
We have small groups that meet at Lakeside on Sunday mornings after the service concludes, Sunday evenings in people’s homes, and Wednesday nights in people’s homes.
If you are interested in or have any questions about small groups please contact Austin Kammeraad, our Director of Youth and Adult Discipleship. His email is austin@lakeside.church
